ING THAT 1HE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 9-8 QF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR
THE ADOPTION OF THE CITY OF PARIS EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS OPER-
ATIONS PLAN, DATED AINICONFLI0CT HEREWITHG AND PROVIDINGSFOR AN
PARTS OF ORDINAI~CES
EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 14, 1930.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Section 9-8 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such shall
read as follows:
"Sec. 9-8. Emergency Preparedness Operations Plan adopted.
The officers, departments, agencies and employees of
the City of Paris shall be governed by the Emergency Pre-
paredness Operations Plan, April, 1980, and by the 1975
basic Emergency Operations Plan for the City of Paris,
which plans are filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Paris."

Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
April 14, 1980.
