2301 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODEORDINANCE NO. 2301
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-
CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION
29-80 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT 1'O EX-
CEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1976.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PA R IS:
Section 1. Ihat the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted in
Paragraph (b) of Section 29 -80 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paris be amended by including a stop sign as fol.lows:
"Stop lst S. E. at East Sherman"
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon
conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
November 1, 1976.
