2304 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODEORDINANCE NO. 2304
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-
CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION
29-80 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT 10 EX-
CEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER l, 1976.
BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PA R IS:
Section l. That the Traffic-Control Device Map adopted in
Paragraph (b) of Section 29 -80 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paris be amended to include stop signs as follows:
"Stop East Polk at 6th S. E. , from the East and West
Stop Cedar at 6th S. E. , from the East and West
Stop 19th S. E. at Cedar, from the North and South
Stop Clark Lane at 24th S. E. , from the East
Stop Simpson at 24th S. E. , from the East and West
Stop Culbertson at 24th S. E. , from the East and West
Stop Cleveland at 24th S. E. , from the East and West
Stop East Price at 25th N. E. , from the East and West
Stop East Sherman at 6th S. E. , from the West"
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon
conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
December 1, 1976.
