AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF
THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NG ING THE BOUNDA -
RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH-
ING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 2 AND 3, CITY
BLOCK 249, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GLENN SMALLWOOD, SO
AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS
A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO, 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNAT-
ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO
ESTABLISHED,
BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail
I?istrict (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on Lots 2 and 3,
City Block 249, on property belonging to Glenn Smallwood, so as to in-
clude in such General Retail District (GR) the hereinafter described
property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-
Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said
General Retail District (GR), be, and the same are hereby established
as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City
of Pati s, Lamar County, Texas, being Lots 2 and 3,
City Block 249.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the
City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map
of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in
regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas,
on this the lOth day of January, 1977.
