AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
ESTABLISHING A MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1
(MF-1) ON LOTS 25 AND 26, CITY BLOCK 222A, UPON PROPERTY

DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established bPa~ s,
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Multiple
Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1), be, and the same is hereby
established on Lots 25 and 26, City Block 222A, upon property of which
Nathan Bell owns a current option, so as to include in such Multiple
Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1) the hereinafter described pro-
perty, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family
Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said
Multiple Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF -1), be, and the same are
hereby established as follows:
FIRST TRACT: Being situated within the corporate
limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, in
City Block No. 222-A, a part of the Geo. W. Cox Survey;
BEGINNING at a stake in the SBL of East Price
Street, 225 feet West of the NEC of the Blue Bonnet
Lodge Tract, now owned by Morris Ford, and in Ford's
NWC an arrow is chiseled in the back of curb for line;
THENCE South 210 feet to the NBL of a lot now
owned by W. E. Brown, and facing Lamar Avenue;
THENCE with Brown's NBL West 58 feet to a stake;
THENCE North 210 feet to the SBL of Price Street
to a stake, an arrow being chiseled in the back of curb
for line;
THENCE East with SBL of Price Street 58 feet to
the place of BEGINNING.
SECOND TRACT: Being a part of the Geo. W. Cox
Survey and a part of the 6-1/2 acre tract conveyed in a
deed executed by W. W. Stell to Jas. W. Mooredof
May 9, 1910, recorded in Deed Book 94, at page 573,
the Lamar County records ;
BEGINNING at a stake the NE corner of said 6-1/2
acres in the South boundary line of the road which is

THENCE Wes
Price Street 225 feet to a stake;
THENCE South 210 feet to a stake;
THENCE East 225 feet to a stake on the East boundary
line of said 6-1/2 acres;
THENCE North with the East boundary line of the
same 210 feet to the place of BEGINNING, being a part
of the same land devised to Marjorie M. Galbreath,
Mary Elizabeth Moore and Eleanor Myrtle Moore by
James W. Moore by will recorded in Probate Minute
Book 25, at page 267, Lamar County Records.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City °~d Phe landausermap accompany ng the same,

and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. Zhis ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in
regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on this the 14th day of March, 1977.
