2333 ORD PROVIDNG CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICE MAP ADOPTEDIN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF SAID CODEORDINANCE NO. 2333
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC-CONTROL
DEVICE MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 29-80 OF
SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
JULY 1, 1977.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the TraEfic-Control Device Map adopted in
Paragraph (b) of Section 29-80 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paris be amended to include stop signs as follows:
"Stop East Hickory at 20th N. E. , from the East
Stop Ballard at 20th N. E. , from the North and South
Stop Harrison at 20th N. E. , from the West
Stop Fairfax at 20th N. E. , from the West
Stop Kyle at 20th N. E. , from the East
Stop Beverly at 20th N. E. , from the South"
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon
conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00.
Section 3. A 11 ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on July 1,
1977.
