There is hereby created a Building Hazard
Inspection Committee, to be an agency and instru-
mentality of the City to aid and assist the City in
the protection of the lives and property of its citi-
zens under its Charter powers. Such committee
shall consist of the Director of Public Works, the
Chief of the Fire Department and the Director of
Community Development. In the absence of the
Director of Public Works, or at any time when he
is unable to act, the Assistant Director of Public
Works may act in his place. In the absence of the
Chief of the Fire Department, or at any time when
he is unable to act, any A.ssistant Chief of the Fire
Department may act in his place. In the absence of
the Director of Community Development, or at any
time when he is unable to act, the Tax Assessor-
Collector may act in his place. "
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on March 10,
1975.
