AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) ON LOTS 1, 2,
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 AND 11, BLOCK 2 OF LAMAR TERRACE
ADDITION, UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH B. RAY STEELMAN OWNS
A CURRENT OPTION, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT
NO. 2(SF-2), AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General
Retail District (GR), be, and the same is hereby established on
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, Block 2 of Lamar Terrace
Addition, upon property of which B. Ray Steelman owns a current op-
tion, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR), the here-
inafter described property, which was formerly and is presently de-
signated as a One -Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF -2), and that
the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), be, and the
same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the George W.
Cox Survey, and being Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 61 71 9,
10 and 11, Block 2 of Lamar Terrace Addition, fronting
220 feet on Lamar Avenue, being 140 feet deep, and
being Nos. 2322, 2340, 2350 and 2360 Lamar Avenue.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the
same, and in accordance with the provisions of th.is ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
fl.ict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
