AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO, 1406,
ARTICLE XXI, SECTION 2, OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, "PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES IN DESIGNATED
PLACES", BY ADDING THERETO: BOTH SIDES OF F. M.
HIGHWAY 1507 (JEFFERSON ROAD), FROM THE EAST RIGHT OF
WAY LINE OF STATE HIGHWAY 24 TO THE WEST RIGHT OF
WAY LINE OF 27TH/30TH STREET, S. E. ; PROVIDING FOR A
FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $3. 00 NOR MORE THAN $200. 00; RE-
PEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY l, 1975.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1406, Article XXI, Section 2,
of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, "Parking Prohibited at A11 Times
in Designated Places", be amended by adding thereto: Both Sides of
F. M. Highway 1507 (Jefferson Road), from the East Right of Way
Line of State Highway 24 to the West Right of Way Line of 27th/30th
Street, S. E.
Section 2. That any person found guilty of parking a motor
vehicle on the aforesaid portion of F. M. Highway 1507 (Jefferson
Road) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be
fined a sum of not less than Three ($3. 00) Dollars nor more than
Two Hundred ($200. 00) Dollars.
Section 3. A11 ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on July 1,
1975.
