2268 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 11-8(a) OF SAID CODEORDINANCE NO. 2268 .
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 11-8(a) OF
SAID CODE, ELIMINATING THE REQUIREMENT THAT ONE
MEMBER OF THE ELECTRICAL BOARD BE AN OWNER OF
RENTAL PROPERTY WITHIN THE FIRE LIMITS OF THE CITY;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF DECEMBER 8, 1975.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Section 1 1-8 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by deleting the words
"rental property within the fire limits of" from the second sentence
of Section 11-8, Subparagraph (a), and placing in their stead the
words "real property within".
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
December 8, 1975.
