AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, SHOPPING
CENTER (MINI-WAREHOUSES) (PD-a) ON LOT 3, CITY BLOCK 53,
UPON PROPERTY OF WHICH ELMER WHITAKER AND NEIL
WHITAKER HAVE A CONTRACTUAL INTEREST, SO AS TO IN-
CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A
TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (217), AND DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT,
SHOPPING CENTER (MINI-WAREHOUSES) (PD-a) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Planned
Development District, Shopping Center (Mini-Warehouses (PD-a),
be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 3, City Block 53,
upon property of which Elmer Whitaker and Neil Whitaker have a
contractual interest, so as to include in such Planned Development
District, Shopping Center (Mini-Warehouses)(PD-a), the hereinafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently designated
as a Two-Family Dwelling District (21T), and that the boundaries of
said Planned Development District, Shopping Center (Mini-
Warehouses) (PD-a), be, and the same are hereby established as
follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 3, City Block 53,
located on the Northeast Corner of Graham Street and
7th Street, N. W.
Section 2. That the site plan of the property herein re-zoned,
attached hereto as Exhibit A, is approved subject to any engineering
requirements.
Section 3. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the
same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Municipal Court Room, Police
and Court Building, Paris, Texas, on this the lOth day of May,
1976.
