AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PRO-
VIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
TEXAS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE TRAFFIC NO PARKING
MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (c) OF SECTION 29-112 OF SAID
CODE; ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING AREA ON THE NOR"I'H SIDE
OF EAST AUSTIN STREET, BEGINNING 30 FEET EAST OF SAID
STREET'S INTERSECTION WITH THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF
5TH STREET, S. Eo , THENCE WEST A DISTANCE OF 200 FEET;
PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
AUGUS? 1, 1976.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PA R IS:
Section 1. That the Traffic No Parking Map adopted in
Paragraph (c) of Section 29-112 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to include the following
No Parking area:
Adjacent to the North Boundary Line of East Austin Street;
Beginning 30 feet East of said street's intersection with
the East Boundary Line of 5th Street, S. E. ; Thence West
a distance of 200 feet.
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" Misdemeanor, and upon
conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on August 1,
1976.
