2297 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 AND CHANGING BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY ESTABLISHING OFFICE DISTRICT (O) ON LOT 8 CITY BLOCK 287 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO C E BEACHLEYORDINA NCE N0. 2297 , AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NGING THE BOUNDA - RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH- ING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O) ON A PART OF LOT 8, CITY BLOCK 287, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO C. E. BEACHLEY, SO AS TO IN- CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (O) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PA RIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an Office District (O), be, and the same is hereby established on a part of Lot 8, City Block 287, on property belonging to C. E. Beachley, so as to include in such Office District (O) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Office District (O), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being a part of Lot S, City Block 287; being a part of that certain 24. 28 acre tract of land, in the Joseph Leach Survey, conveyed to Charles E. Beachley and wife, Joan Beachley, by a warranty deed executed by Joan Barrett, Et A 1, on March 15, 1976 and appearing of record in Volume 577, Page 592 of the Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas, and more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the most southerly southwest corner of the said 24. 28 acre tract in the north right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 271, said corner being also the southeast corner of a 10 acre tract located at the northeast corner of 36th S. E. and U. S. Highway 271; THENCE in an easterly direction along the north right -of -way line of U. S. Highway 271 and along a curve to the right, having a radius of 1216. 28 feet, a distance of 289 feet; THENCE north 35 ° east, along a diagonal line at the intersection of the north right-of-way line of U. S. Highway 271 and the west right-of-way line of Loop Highway 286, a distance of 163 feet; THENCE north 14 ° west, along the west right-of-way line of Loop Highway 286, a distance of 403 feet; THENCE north 21 ° 25' west, continuing along the west right-of-way line of Loop Highway 286, to the point of intersection of said west right-of-way line with the easterly prolongation of the north boundary line of the above mentioned 10 acre tract; THENCE west, along the said easterly prolongation of the north boundary line of said 10 acre tract, to the northeast corner of the said 10 acre tract, same being an inside corner of the said 24.28 acre tract; THENCE south, along the east boundary line of the said 10 acre tract, same being the most southerly west boundary line of the said 24. 28 acre tract, a distance of 646. 5 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage. Passed and adopted by the City Council of the C.ity of Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day of August, 1976.
