AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF
THE CITY OF PA R IS, PA R IS, TEXA S, A ND CHA NGING THE BOUNDA -
RIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH-
ING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O), SPECIFIC USE, GREENHOUSE,
NURSERY FOR RETAIL PLANT SALES AND FLORIST, ON LOT 22B,
CITY BLOCK 249, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO TOMMY E. SIMMONS,
SO AS 1'O INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED
AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DESIG-
NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (O), SPECIFIC
USE, GREENHOUSE, NURSERY FOR RETAIL PLANT SALES AND
FLORIST, SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDA INED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Parfs, Paris, Texas,
be, and the same are hereby changed, and that an Office District (O),
Specific Use, Greenhause, Nursery for Retail Plant Sales and Florist,
be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 22B, City Block 249, on
property belonging to Tommy E. Simmons, so as to include in such
Office District (O), Specific Use, Greenhouse, Nursery for Retail
Plant Sales and Florist, the hereinafter described property, which was
formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling
District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said Office District
(O), Specific Use, Greenhouse, Nursery for Retail Plant Sales and
Florist, be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 22B, City Block 249,
located at 2950 Lamar A venue.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the
City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map
of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in
regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas,
on this the 13th day of September, 1976.
