AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TExAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES FS-
TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, ON LOT 22, BLOCK A,
JEFFERSON HEIGHTS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PARIS, ON PROPERTY
BELONGING TO CECIL ANDERSON, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING IISTRICT NO. 2
(SF-2 ) AND A NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS AND DFSIGNAT-
ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL R ETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIR E
LIMITS, SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, an d the same is
hereby established on Lot 22, Block A, Jefferson Heights
Addition to the City of Paris, on property belonging to Cecil
Anderson, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR),
Fire Limits, the hereinafter described property, which was for-
merly and is presently designated as a One-Family Dwelling
District No. 2(SF-2) and a Neighborhood Service District (NS),
and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR),
Fire Limits, be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City
of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 22, Block A,
Jeff erson Heights Addition to the City of Paris, and
being the same property described in deed recorded
Book 453, Page 264, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the lOth day of July, 1972.
