AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES-
TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR FIRE LIMITS, ON LOT 1, CITY
BLOCK 270, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO HENRY PRICE, SO AS TO IN-
CLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A NEIGHBORHOOD
SERVICE DISTRICT (NS); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
GEIVERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same is
hereby established on Lot 1, City Block 270, on property be-
longing to Henry Price, so as to include in such General Retail
District (GR), Fire Limits, the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designated as a Neighborhood
Service District (NS), and that the boundaries of said General
Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same are hereby
established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City
of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 1, City
Block 270, fronting 33 feet on the North Side of
Blake Road and 198 feet on the East Side of Fitzhugh
Avenue, and being the same property described in deed
recorded Book 445, Page 158, Deed Records, Lamar
County, Texas.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the lOth day, of July, 1972.
