ORDINANCE NO. 2109, . AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TF~AS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES FS- TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A GENERAL R ETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIR E LIMITS, ON LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 205, ON PROPERTY BET.ONGING TO THE PARIS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIG- NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS, SO ESTABLISHE,D. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 5, City Block 205, on property belong- ing to the Paris Independent School District, so as to include in such General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, the herein- after described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a Tnro-Family Dwelling District (2F), and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Asa Jarman Survey and being a tract of land known as the Rosa Pearson School lot. BEGINNING at a stake for corner at the Northeast corner of said tract of land. THENCE West along the South Boundary line of Bonham Street a distance of 228.5 feet to a stake for corner at the Northwest corner of said tract of land; THENCE South a distance of 292 feet to a stake for corner at the Southwest corner of said tract of land; THENC E East along the North Boundary line of Kaufman Street a distance of 228.5 feet to a stake for corner at the Southeast corner of said tract of land; THENC E North along the West Boundary line of 19th S. W., a distance of 292 feet to the place of beginning and containing 1.53 acres of land. Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme- diately upon passage.
