N. W. AND WEST CENTER STREET ADJACENT TO THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE
OF 19TH STREET, N. W., FRONTING APPROXIMATELY 2,171.4 FEET ON
LOOP HIGHGVAY 286 N. W., APPROXIMATELY 1,084 FEET ON 19TH STREET,
N. W. AND APPROXIMATELY 2,949 FEET ON WEST CENTER STREET, SAID
PROPERTY BEING HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS AND
SAID PROPERTY BEING WHOLLY UNINHABITED BY RESIDENCES OR COMMER-
CIAL STRUCTURES; CHANGING THE BOUNDARIFS OF WARD THREE OF THE
CITY OF PARIS SO AS TO FXCLUDE THE HEREINAb'TER DFSCRIBED PRO-
PFRTY FROM SAID WARD; INSTRUCTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE A
SURVEY FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY
IN ACCORDANCE HEREWITH AND TO CONSTRUCT A COMPLETE MAP OF SUCH
TERRITORY HEREIN AND HF.FZEBY EXCLUDE,U FROM THE CORPORATE AREA OF
THE CITY OF PARIS; AND ESTABLISHING THE CITY LIMIT LINE RFSULT-
ING FROM THIS DISANNEKATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the following described property presently
located within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar
County, Texas, which is wholly uninhabited, owned by Paris, Texas
Industrial Foundation, Inc., be, and the same is hereby separated,
disannexed, removed and excluded from the corporate area of said
City, and the boundary limits of the City of Paris are hereby
amended, changed and corrected, so as to exclude said territory
and to conform to the same as herein set out, to-wit:
Situated within the Corporate Liznits of the City of
Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of
the Reddin Russell Survey, an d being all of a 4.113 acre
tract of land conveyed Paris, Texas Industrial Foundation,
Inc. by deed recorded in Vol. 430, Page 437, also being a
part of a 87.56 acre tract of land conveyed Paris, Texas
Industrial Foundation, Inc. by deed recorded in Vol. 430,
Page 337 of the Deed Records of said County and State.
Beginning ata concrete marker for corner at the
Noxthwest corner of said 87.56 acre tract of land.
Thence along the East Boundary Line of 19th N. W. as
follows: South 7 Deg. West a distance of 285 ft.; South
a distance of 799 ft.; South 45 Deg. East a distance of
28 ft. to a stake for corner;
Thence along the North Boundary Lim of Center St. as
follows• South 89 Deg. 20 Min. East a distance of 2653
ft., South 86 Deg. East a distance of 296 ft. to a stake
for corner, said point being 25 ft. North of the Southeast
corner of said 87.56 acre tract of land;

ft.; South 72 Deg. West a distance of 148 ft.; South 67
Deg. West a distance of 400 ft.; South 59 Deg. West a
distance of 101 ft.; South 67 Deg. West a distance of
191 ft.; South a distance of 43 ft.; North 88 Deg. West
a distance of 104 ft.; South 67 Deg. West a distance of
538 ft.; South 58 Deg. West a distance of 611 ft. to
the place of beginning and containing 90.62 acres of
land.
Section 2. That the present boundaries of Ward Three of
the City of Paris are hereby corrected and changed, so as to
exclude the said above described property, and the same is hereby
removed and excluded from said Ward Three of the City of Paris,
Texas.
Section 3. The City Engineer is hereby instructed to make
a complete survey of the above described territory and to mark
the boundaries of the City Limit Lines as established by this
ordinance after the removal and exclusion of the above described
tract from the existing or present corporate limits of the City
of Paris, and he is further instructed to immediately correct the
map of the City of Paris so as to remove and exclude therefrom
the territory described herein, indicating on such map the date
of the separation and disannexation of said above described tract
from the corporate limits of the City of Paris.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened on this 12th day of February,
1973.
