AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS,
ON A PART OF LOTS l, 2 AND 3, BLOCK 4, ANITA PARI<
ADDITION, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO WARD COX, SO AS TO
INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A
TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (217); AND DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE
LIMITS, SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, '
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General
Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same is hereby es-
tablished on a part of Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block 4, Anita Park
Addition, on property belonging to Ward Cox, so as to include in
such General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, the hereinafter de -
scribed property, which was formerly and is presently designated as
a'I~vo-Family Dwelling District (217), and that the boundaries of said
General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same are
hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being the West 65 feet
off of Lots l, 2 and 3, Block 4, Anita Park Addition,
not heretofore zoned General Retail, at the intersection
of Cleveland Street and 17th Street, S. E. , fronting 65
feet on the South Side of Cleveland Street and fronting
125 feet on the East Side of 17th Street, S. E.
Section 2. That the C"ity Engineer of the City of Paris, be,
and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of
Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and
the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with
the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
