AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF
THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDA-
RIES ESTA.BLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISH-
ING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS ON LOT 7,
CITY BLOCK 60, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO MATTIE DANCER, SO
AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED A.S
A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (217); AND DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE
LIMITS, SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PAR IS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail
District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same is hereby established on
Lot 7, City Block 60, on property belonging to Mattie Dancer, so as to
include in such General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, the herein-
after described property, which was formerly and is presently desig-
nated as a'IWo-Family Dwelling District (217), and that the boundaries
of said General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits, be, and the same
are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 7, City Block 60,
fronting approximately 40 feet on the North side of Pine
Bluff Street, and being approximately 131 feet deep.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the
City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map
of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in
regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas,
on this the 13th day of August, 1973.
