AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS
AND GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), SPECIFIC USE,
COMMERCIAL AMUSEMENTS, INDOOR, FIRE LIMITS, ON LOTS 22
AND 22A, CITY BLOCK 75, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO COLEMAN
GRAVES, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DE-
SIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS;
AND DESIGNATING THE BOt1NDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL
DISTRICT (GR), FIRE LIMITS AND GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT
(GR), SPECIFIC USE, COMMERCIAL AMUSEMENTS, INDOOR, FIRE
LIMITS, SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY 'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General
Retail District (GR), Fire Limits and General Retail L7istrict (GR),
Specific Use, Commercial A.musements, Indoor, Fire Limits, be,
and the same are hereby established on Lots 22 and 22A, City
Block 75, on property belonging to Coleman Graves, so as to include
in such General Retail District (GR), Fire Limits and General Retail
District (GR), Specific Use, Commercial Amusements, Indoor, Fire
Limits, the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and
is presently designated as a General Retail District (GR), Fire
Limits, and that the boundaries of said General Retail District (GR),
Fire Limits and General Retail District (GR), Specific Use,
Commercial Amusements, Indoor, Fire Limits, be, and the same
are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being Lots 22 and 22A,
City Block 75.
Section 2. That the I?irector of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon pa s s age.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris
in regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on this the lOth day of December, 1973.
