AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AMEND-
ING ORDINANCE NO. 2056 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
AND CHA.NGING THE ONE-WAY STREET MAP OF SAID CITY; DELET-
ING CHURCH STREET AS A ONE-WAY STREET, SOUTH FROM ITS IN-
TERSECTION WITH CLARKSVILLE STREET TO ITS INTERSECTION
WITH EAST SHERMAN STREET; DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
CHANGE THE ONE-WAY STREET MAP; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY
NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH 1, 1974.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the one -way street system as established by
Ordinance No. 2056 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same
is hereby changed by deleting Church Street as a one-way street, South
from its intersection with Clarksville Street to its intersection with East
Sherman Street.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and he
is hereby directed to change the One-Way Street Map of the City of Paris
in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 2056 and in accord-
ance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be
fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby expressly repealed.
Section S. This ordinance shall become effective on March l, 1974.
