AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710
OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE
BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY;
ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC
USE PERMIT, GASOLINE SERVICE STATION (48) ON LOTS 25 AND
26 IN BLOCK A OF THE FIRST INSTALLMENT OF JOHNSON WOODS
ESTATES, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO BETTY KAHN DREYFUS, SO
AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS
A MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1) AND A
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA-
RIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT, GASOLINE SERVICE STATION (48), SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PAR IS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the
Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas,
be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a General Retail
District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Gasoline Service Station (48),
be, and the same are hereby established on Lots 25 and 26 in Block A
of the First Installment of Johnson Woods Estates, on property belong-
ing to Betty Kahn Dreyfus, so as to include in such General Retail
District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Gasoline Service Station (48),
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre-
sently designated as a Multiple Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1)
and a General Retail District (GR), and that the boundaries of said
General Retail District (GR) and Specific Use Permit, Gasoline Service
Station (48), be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being Lots 25 and 26 in
Block A of the First Installment of Johnson Woods Estates,
fronting 154 feet on Clarksville Street with a depth of 140
feet fronting on Johnson Woods Drive, and being No. 3015
Clarksville Street.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be,
and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of
Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and
the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris in
regular session convened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas,
on this the 13th day of May, 1974.
