AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AMEND-
ING ORDINANCE NO. 2056 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
AND CHANGING THE ONE WAY STREET MAP OF SAID CITY; DELET-
ING WEST KAUFMAN STREET AS A ONE-WAY STREET, WEST FROM
ITS INTERSECTION WITH 19TH STREET, S. W. TO ITS INTERSECTION
WITH 21ST STREET, S. W. ; DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
CHANGE THE ONE-WAY STREET MAP; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY
NOT TO EXCEED $200. 00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1974.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the one-way street system as established by
Ordinance No. 2056 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the
same is hereby changed by deleting West Kaufman Street as a one-
way street, West from its intersection wi.th 19th Street, S. W. to its
intersection with 21st Street, S. W.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be, and
and he is hereby directed to change the One-Way Street Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 2056
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall
be fined in any sum not to exceed $200. 00.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective on
November 1, 1974.
