EXTENDING IN AN EASTERLY DIRECTION 498 FEET, MORE OR
LESS, TO THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF 17TH STREET, S. E.
AND THE SOUTH EAST CORNER OF LOT 5, BLOCK B, P. J. WILLIS
& BROS. SUBDIVISION, AND THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF LOT 10,

TEXAS, AND DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED OF SAID ALLEY
FOR CITY USE, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
OCTOBER 14, 1974.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Paris that an alley, beginning at the East
Boundary Line of 15th Street, S. E. , at the South West Corner of
Lot 1, Block: B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, and the North West
Corner of Lot 6, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, being 13
feet wide and extending in an Easterly direction 498 feet, more or
less, to the West Boundary Line of 17th Street, S. E. and the South
East Corner of Lot 5, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision,
and the North East Corner of Lot 10, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros.
Subdivision, lying adjacent to the South Boundary Lines of Lots 1
through 5 and adj acent to the North Boundary Lines of Lots 6 through
10, all in Block B of the P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, recorded
Book 86, Page 86, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, is of no use
as an alley to the City of Paris or to its citizens, and the City Council
so finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the alley, beginning at the East Boundary Line
of 15th Street, S. E. , at the South West Corner of Lot 1, Block B,
P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, and the North West Corner of Lot 6,
Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, being 13 feet wide and ex-
tending in an Easterly direction 498 feet, more or less, to the West
Boundary Line of 17th Street, S. E. and the South East Corner of
Lot 5, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros.Subdivisioq and the North East
Corner of Lot 10, Block B, P. J. Willis & Bros. Subdivision, lying
adjacent to the South Boundary Lines of Lots 1 through 5 and adja-
cent to the North Boundary Lines of Lots 6 through 10, all in Block B
of the P. J. Willis Subdivision, recorded Book 86, Page 86, Deed
Records, Lamar County, Texas, is hereby closed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
October 14, 1974.
