ORDINANCE NO. 2001 <br />AN ORDINANCE CLOSING ALLEN STREET, FROM THE WEST BOUNDARY <br />LINE OF 31ST STREET, S. E. TO THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF <br />JOHNSON'S WOODS SUBDIVISION, A DISTANCE OF 120.45 FEET, AS THE <br />SAME APPEARS IN JOHNSON'S WOODS SUBDIVISION PLAT 3, RECORDED <br />BOOK 5, PAGE 43, PLAT RBCORDS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEKf1S, AND DDCLAR- <br />ING NO NDCESSITY OR NEED FOR SAID STREET FOR CITY USE, AND PRO- <br />VIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 11, 1971. <br />WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City <br />Council of the City of Paris that a street, Al1en Street, from <br />the West Boundary Line of 31st Street, S. E. to the West <br />Boundary Line of Johnson's Woods Subdivision, as shown in the <br />Plat of Johnson's Woods Subdivision Plat 3, recorded in Book 5, <br />Page 43, Plat Records, Lamar County, Texas, has never been used <br />as a public street and is of no use as a street to the City of <br />Paris or to its citizens, and the City Council so finds; NOW, <br />THIIR EFORE, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY TH E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That Allen Street, from the West Boundary <br />Line of 31st Street, S. E. to the West Boundary Line of <br />Johnson's Woods Subdivision, as shown in the Plat of Johnson's <br />Wooels Subdivision Plat 3, in Paris, Texas, which is recorded <br />in Book 5, Page 43, Plat Records, Lamar County, Texas, is <br />hereby closed. <br />Section 2.
