<br />AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY, BEGINNING AT THE SOUTH
<br />SOUNDARY LINE OF WOODLAWN AVENUE AT THE NORTH EAST CORNER OF
<br />LOT 1-A, FELTS FORT & VARNER ADDITION TO TH E CITY OF PARIS
<br />AND THE NORTH WEST CORNER OF LOT 2-A OF THE FELTS FORT &
<br />VARNER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PARIS, BEING 20 FEET WIDE AND
<br />EXTFNDING IN A SOUTHERLY DIRECTION 332 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO
<br />THE NORTH BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 113, AS THE SAME
<br />APPEARS IN THE REPLAT OF TH E FELTS FORT & VARNER ADDITI ON, EN-
<br />TITLED BOYD & McGLASSON ADDITION, RECORDED IN BOOK 1, PAGE 11,
<br />PLAT RECORDS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS, AND DECLARING NO NECFSSITY
<br />OR NEED OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY USE, AND PROVIDIN G FOR AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 12, 1971.
<br />WHEREAS, it has been brought to the
<br />Council of the City of Paris that an all
<br />South Boundary Line of Woodlawn Avenue a
<br />of Lot 1-A, Felts Fort & Varner Addition
<br />and the North West Corner of Lot 2-A of
<br />Addition to the City of Paris, being 20
<br />in a Southerly direction 332 feet, more
<br />Boundary Line of Lot 1, City Block 113,
<br />East Boundary Line of Lots 1-A and 7 of
<br />Addition to the City of Paris and Lots 1
<br />McGlasson Addition to the City of Paris,
<br />the West Boundary Line of Lots 2-A and 4
<br />Varner Addition to the City of Paris an
<br />Boyd & McGlasson Addition to the City of
<br />attention of the City
<br />ey, beginning at the

<br />Page 11, Plat Records, Lamar County, Texas, is of no use as an
<br />alley to the City of Paris or to its citizens, and the City
<br />Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS:
<br />Section 1. That the alley, beginning at the South
<br />Boundary Line of Woodlawn Avenue at the North East Corner of
<br />Lot 1-A, Felts Fort & Varner Addition to the City of Paris and
<br />the North West Corner of Lot 2-A of the Felts Fort & Varner
<br />Addition to the City of Paris, being 20 feet wide and extending
<br />in a Southerly direction 332 feet, more or less, to the North
<br />Boundary Line of Lot 1, City Block 113, lying adjacent to the
<br />East Boundary Line of Lots 1-A and 7 of the Felts Fort & Varner
<br />Addition to the City of Paris an d Lots l, 2 and 3 of the Boyd &
<br />McGlasson Addition to the City of Paris, and being adjacent to
<br />the West Boundary Line of Lots 2-A and 4 of the Felts Fort &
<br />Varner Addition to the City of Paris and Lots 4, 5 and 6 of the
<br />Boyd & McGlasson Addition to the City of Paris, recorded Book 1,
<br />Page 11, Plat Records, Lamar County, Texas, is hereby closed.
<br />Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
<br />April 12, 1971.
