AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2018 OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BY CORRECTING THE SPELLING OF THE SURNAME
1PTIPPIT" IN PARAGRAPH 1 AND BY CHANGING THE DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING TO THE 12TH DAY OF JULY, 1971, IN SBCTION l; RE,PEALING
ALL ORDINANCFS IN CONFLICT HIIREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFDCTIVE DATE OF MAY 24, 1971.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Or dinance No. 2018, Paragraph 1, be amended,
by changing the spelling from "Tippitt" to "Tippit
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 2018, Section 1, be amended
to read as follows:
"Section 1. The date for public hearing before the
City Council of the abutting property owners on the above
described property is hereby fixed at 7:00 o'clock P. M.,
in the City Council Room, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on the
12th day of July, 1971. That the City Clerk is hereby
directed to publish in the Paris News, notice of the
public hearing, three (3) times prior to said public
hearing, the first of said notices to be published at
least twenty-one (21) days prior to the date of the public
hearing, as required by law.'r
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
May 24, 1971.
Passed and adopted this 24th d.ay of May, 1971.
