AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TF.XAS, BY REVISING SFCTION 25-1(3), PROVIDING
FOR AN INCREASE FROM NINETEEN (19) TO TWENTY-ONE (21) OF THE
PATROLMEN IN THE PARIS POLICE DEPARTMENT; RFPEALING ALL ORDI-
N.ANCFS OR PARTS OF ORDINANCFS IN CONFLICT HIIREWITH; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR AN E,FFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1p 1971.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. ThatSection 25-1(3) of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such
shall read as follows:
"Section 25-1. Composition of department.
(3) 'I~venty-One (21) patrolmen."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
July 1, 1971.
