ORDINANCE NO. 2044 , AN ORDINANC E AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES- TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (HI) ON LOTS 9 AND 9A, CITY BLOCK 170A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO LAMAFZ EQUIPMENT & SUPPLY COMPIINY AND SAM GINSBERG, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (HI) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINE,U BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS ) TEXAS : Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Heavy Industrial District (HI), be, and the same is hereby established on Lots 9 and 9A, City Block 170A, on property belonging to Lamar Equipment & Supply Company and Sam Ginsberg, so as to include in such Heavy Industrial District (HI), the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is pre- sently designated as a Commercial District (C) and an Agricultural District (A), and that the boundaries of said Heavy Industrial District (HI), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being Lots 9 and 9A, City Block 170A, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at an iron post set in the W/B/L of South Church St. same being in the W/B/L of Texas State Hwy. No. 24 right of way, at the Southeast corner of a tract of land conveyed to P. E. Jaxnar by Deed from Oscar Dunagan, as recorded in Vol. 251, Page 215, Deed Records of Lamar County, Texas; THENC E with the W/B/L of said Hwy. 24 following a 2° curve to the right, a distance of 474 feet to an iron post for a corner; THENCE West 240 feet to an iron post for a corner; THENCE South 108.4 feet to an iron post for a corner; THENCE South 26° 36' West 529 feet to an iron post for a corner; THENC E North 67° 08' West, 181.4 feet to an iron post for a corner; THENCE North 23° 25' Ea,st, 230 feet to an i,ron pipe for a corner; THENCE North 322 feet to an iron post for a corner; THENC E North 390 05' West, 587.4 feet to an iron post for a corner; THENC E East 942.5 feet to the place of beginning, containing 11.20 acres of land, more or less, as shown by survey made November 20, 1963 by A. C. Fryar, Licensed Surveyor.
