2046 ORD CLOSING SYCAMORE STORDINANCE NO. 2046 AN ORDINANCE CLOSING SYCAMORE STREET, FROM THE WFST BOUNDARY LINE OF 6TH STREET, S. E., WFST 115 FEET TO THE SOUTH WEST CORNER OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1, AND THE NORTH WEST CORNFR OF LOT 1, BLOCK 9, OF THE TEXEIS A,ND PACIFIC RAILWAY COMPANy ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PARIS, SAID STREET APPEARING IN THE PLAT OF SAID ADDITION, RECORDED IN BOOK 53, PAGE 445, DEED RDCORDS, LAMAR COUNTY, TEXAS; DDCLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED FOR SAID STRE,ET FOR CITY USE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 13, 1971. WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that a street, Sycamore Street, as shown in the plat of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company Addition to the City of Paris, recorded in Book 53, Page 445, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, from the West Boundary Line of 6th Street, S. E., West 115 feet to the South West Corner of Lot 1, Block l, and the North West Corner of Lot 1, Block 9, of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company Addition to the City of Paris, has never been used as a street and is of no use as a street to the City of Paris and its citizens, and the City Council so finds; NOW, THEZEFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PAR IS , TEXAS : Section 1. That Sycamore Street, from the West Boundary Line of 6th Street, S. E. , West 115 feet to the South West Corner of Lot l, Block 1, and the North West Corner of Lot l, Block 9, of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company Addition to the City of Paris, as shown in the plat of Texas and Pacific Railway Company Addition to the City of Paris, recorded in Book 53, Page 445, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, is hereby closed.
