OR DI NANC E NO. 2 05 6 _ AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SDCTION l, ARTICLE XXI, OF ORDINANCE NO. 1406 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS2 TEXAS, "ONE-WAY STREETS", ESTABLISHING A ONE-WAY STREET SYSTEM; PROVIDING FOR A ONE-WAY STREET MAP; PROVIDING WHERE SAID MAPS SHALL BE KEPT AND MAIN- TAINED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCFS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFDCTIVE DATE OF NOVFMBER 1, 1971. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PAR I S, T FXAS : Section 1. That Section 1, Article XXI, of Ordinance No. 1406 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, "One-Way Streets", be, and the same is hereby repealed. Section 2. A one-way street system for the City of Paris is hereby adopted and designated and set out upon the One-Way Street Map of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, said map being a paxt of this ordinance as fully as if the same were set forth herein in detail. Section 3. Two original, official and identical copies of the one-way street maps are hereby adopted, bearing the signature of the Mayor, the attestation of the City Clerk and approved as to form by the City Attorney, and shall be filed and maintained as follows : a. One copy shall be filed with the City Clerk and retained as the original record and shall not be changed in any manner. b. One copy shall be filed with the Chief, Paris Police Department, and shall be maintained up to date by the City Engineer by posting thereon all changes and subsequent amendments for observa- tion in enforcing the one-way street ordinance. c. Reproductions for information purposes may from time to time be made of the official one-way street maps. Section 4. Any person violating any of the provisions o.f this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con- viction sha11 be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00. Section 5. All ordinances or parts of crrdinances in con- flict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective on November 1, 1971.
