AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCFS OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BY REVISING SECTION 31-3(a), PROVIDING
FOR AN INCREASE IN FEES FOR WATER AND SEWER TAPS TO $85.00 IN
A HARD SURFACE STREET AND $35.00 IN AN UNIMPROVED OR DIRT
STREET OR IN AN AREA NOT IN A PUBLIC STREET, FEES TO APPLY
ONLY WITHIN RIGHT-OF-WAY OF STREETS OF WHICH THE CITY OF PARIS
IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTENANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCFS OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
FFFDCTIVEMTE OF FEBRUARY 1, 1972.
BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS :
Section l. That Section 31-3(a) of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such
shall read as follows:
"Section 31-3. Application and fee for water and
sewer taps.
(a)(1) Each tap in a hard surface street, $85.00.
(2) Each tap in an unimproved or dirt street
or in an area not in a public street,
$35.00."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
February l, 1972.
