AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIFS ESTABLISHED
BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A NEIGHBORHOOD
SFRVICE DISTRICT (NS) ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 53, ON PROPFRTY BE-
LONGING TO ROY SMITH, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FOR-
MERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMIL.Y DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DE-
SIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT
(NS) SO ESTASLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Neighborhood Service District (NS), be, and the same is hereby
established on Lot 1, City Block 53, on property belonging to
Roy Smith, so as to include in such Neighborhood Service
District (NS) the hereinafter described property, which was for-
merly and is presently designated as aTnro-Family Dwelling
District (2F), and that the boundaries of said Neighborhood
Service District (NS), be, an d the same are hereby established
as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 1, City
Block 53, and being a lot 122 feet by 252 feet, front-
ing 122 feet on 7th Street, N. W. and 259 feet on West
Cherry Street, located on the South East Corner of the
intersection of West Cherry Street and 7th Street, N. W.
Section 2. That the City Fngineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and ia
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day of March, 1972.
