AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES-
TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 52, ON PROPERTY
BELONGING TO J. W. MLTSGROVE, JR., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIFS OF THE COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Commercial District (C), be, and the saxn.e is hereby established
on Lot 1, City Block 52, on property belonging to J. W.
Musgrove, Jr., so as to include in such Commercial District (C)
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F),
and that the boundaries of said Commercial District (C), be,
and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, being Lot 1, City Block 52,
and being No. 849 West Cherry Street, at the southeast
intersection of Cherry Street and 9th Street N. W.,
fronting 100 feet on the south side of Cherry Street and
running back south a distance of 150 feet on the east
side of 9th Street N. W.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provis ions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordin ance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day of March, 1972.
