AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING
THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEKAS, BE
AMFNDED BY ADDING A CHAPTER TO BE NUMBERED 10 z, PROVIDING FOR
THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL 24, 1972.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by adding a chapter to be num-
bered 102, to read as follows:
"Chapter 102
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
Section 10 z-l. Department created.
There is hereby created in accordance with
Section 25 of the Charter of the City of Paris the
Depaxtment of Community Development.

Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
April 24, 1972.
