AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TFXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES-
TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 30, CITY BLOCK 259 AND ON
LOT 14, CITY BLOCK 316, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JOHN PAUL
INGRAM, SO AS TO INCLUDE THg2EIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED
AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND DFSIGNAT-
ING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ES-
TABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Commercial District (C), be, and the same is hereby established
on Lot 30, City Block 259 and on Lot 14, City Block 316, on
property belonging to John Paul Ingram, so as to include in
such Commercial District (C) the hereinafter described pro-
perty, which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-
Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the bo undaries
of said Commercial District (C be, and the same are hereby es-
tablished as follows:
TRACT 1: Situated within the corporate limits
of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being
Lot 30, City Block 259.
TRACT 2: Situated within the corporate limits
of the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being
Lot 14, City Block 316.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the pr ovisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 8th day~of May, 1972.
