2098 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECITON 6-21(6) OF SAID CODEORDINANCE NO. 2098
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVID-
ING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCFS, CYTY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY
REVISING SFCTION 6-21(6 ) OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE
CONNECTING OF GROUNDING RODS TO AIRCRAFT BEING FUELED; PROVID-
ING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCFS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFDCTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 1972-
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Section 6-21(6) of the Code of Ordinances
of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so that such
shall read as follows:
„(6) The operator must install adequate grounding
rods at all fueling locations and connect the
same to aircraft being fueled to eliminate
the hazards of static electricity."
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeaxlor, and upon con-
viction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
July l, 1972.
