AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1406, ARTICLE XXI,
SECTION 2, OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL
TIMES IN DFSIGNATED PLACES, BY ADDING THERETO: BOTH SIDES OF
20TH STREET, N. E., FROM LAMAR AVENUE TO F. M. HIGHWAY 195,
AND BOTH SIDES OF F. M. HIGHWAY 195, FROM 20TH STREET, N. E.
TO THE N. E. CITY LIMITS; PROVIDING FOR A FINE OF NOT LFSS
THAN $3.00 NOR MORE THAN $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFDCTIVE DATE OF
MAY 26, 1969.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 1406, Article XXI, Section
2, of the City of Paris, "Parking Prohibited at Al1 Times in
Designated Places'?, be amended by adding thereto: Both Sides
of 20th Street, N. E., from Lamar Avenue to F. M. Highway 195,
and Both Sides of F. M. Highway 195, from 20th Street, N. E. to
the N. E. City Limits.
Section 2. That any parson found guilty of parking a
motor vehicle on the aforesaid portion of 20th Street, N. E.
and F. M. Highway 195 shallbe guilty of a misdemeanor, and
upon conviction shall be fined a sum of not less than Three
($3.00) Dollars nor more than 1~vo Hundred ($200.00) Dollars.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become ef.fective on
May 26, 1969.
Passed and adopted this 12th day of May, 1969.
