BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS :
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Commercial District (C), be,and the same is hereby established
on the North Half of Lots 2 and 3 in City Block 331, and that a
Multiple Family Dwelling District No. 1(MF-1), be,and the same
is hereby established on the South Half of Lots 2 and 3 in City
Block 331, on property lying adjacent to the South Bound ary Line
of West Campbell Street and the West Boundary Line of 34th
Street, N. W., belonging to Taylor Benjamin, so as to include
in such Commercial District (C) and Multiple Family Dwelling
District No. 1(MF-1), the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designated as a One-Family
Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of
said Commercial District (C) and Multiple Family Dwelling
District No. 1(MF-1), be, and the same are hereby established
as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
Paris, County of La.mar, and State of Texas, a part of
the William Driggers Survey, and being a part of a 3.5
and 8 acre tract and all of a 4.5 acre tract of land
conveyed James Taylor Benjamin by deed recorded in
Vol. 443, Page 306, also being a part of a 11.2 acre
tract of land conveyed James Taylor Benjamin by deed
recorded in Vol. 409, Page 74, of the Deed Records of
said County and State.
Beginning at a stake for corner at the intersection
of the South Boundary Line of Campbell St. with the
West Boundary Line of 34th N. W., said point being the
present Northeast corner of said 8 Lacre ine ofaCampbellnd~•

to a post; West a distance of 635 ft. to a stake for
corner at the present Northwest corner of said 11.2
acre tract of land;

ft. to a stake at the Southwest corner of said 11.2
acre tract of land;
Thence North 87 Deg- East a distance of 361 ft. to
a stake at the Southeast corner of said 11.2 acre tract
of land;
Thence South a distance of 292 ft. to a stake at the
present Southwest corner of said 3.5 acre tract of land;
Thence East a distance of 462 ft. to a stake for
corner at the present Southeast corner of said 3.5
acre tract of land;
Thence North a distance of 1242 ft. to a stake for
corner;
Thence along the West Boundary Line of 34th N. W.
as follows: North 19 Deg. West a distance of 55 ft.;
North 1 Deg. 40 Min. West a distance of 189 ft. to
the place of beginning and containing 1,110,732 S.F.
or 25.50 acres of land; and
Being Lots 2 and 3 in City Block 331.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the llth day of August, 1969.
