AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PAR IS , TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARI E5 FSTABLISHED
BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A NEIGHBORHOOD
SERVICE DISTRICT (NS LIMITED TO THE SPDCIFIC USE OF A ONE CHAIR
BEAUTY SHOP, ON LOT 16 AND THE SOUTH 12 FEET OF LOT 15, BLOCK 5
OF THE MAYER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF PARIS, FRONTING ON THE EAST
SIDE OF 34TH STREET, N. W., ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO HARLAN TERRY
AND WIFE, VETA TERRY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY
DESIGNATED AS A ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); AND
DFSIGNATING THE BOUNDARIFS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SgZVICE DISTRICT
(NS), LIMITED TO THE SPDCIFIC USE OF A ONE CHAIR BEAUTY SHOP, SO
ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Neighborhood
Service District (NS), limited to the specific use of a one chair
beauty shop, be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 16 and
the South 12 feet of Lot 15, Block 5 of the Mayer Addition to the
City of Paris, fronting on the East Side of 34th Street, N. W.,
on property belonging to Harlan Terry and wife, Veta Terry, so as
to include in such Neighborhood Service District (NS), limited to
the specific use of a one chair beauty shop, the hereinafter de-
scribed property, which was formerly and is presently designated
as a One-Family Dwelling District No. 2(SF-2), and that the
boundaries of the said Neighborhood Service District (NS'), limited
to the specific use of a one chair beauty shop, be, and the same
are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and being Lot 16 and the
South 12 feet of Lot 15, Block 5 of the Mayer
Addition to the City of Paris.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris, be,
and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of
Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and
the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with
the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 8th day of September, 1969.
