AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED
BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A NEIGHBORHOOD
SERVICE DISTRICT (NS LIMITED TO THE SPECIFIC USE OF A ONE CHAIR
BEAUTY SHOP, SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENT THAT SUITABLE OFF-STREET
PARKING BE PROVIDED, ON LOT 2, CITY BLOCK 161, WHICH FRONTS 60
FEET ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EA.ST WASHINGTON STR EET, ON PROPERTY BE-
LONGING TO EVA LENA HALEY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT
(NS), LIMITED TO THE SPECIFIC USE OF A ONE CHAIR BEAUTY SHOP,
SUBJECT TO THE REQUIRENIENT THAT SUITABLE OFF-STREET PARKING BE
PROVIDED, SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS :
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Neighborhood
Service District (NS), limited to the specific use of a one chair
beauty shop, subject to the requirement that suitable off-street
parking be provided, be, and thesame is hereby establish ed on
Lot 2, City Block 161, which fronts 60 feet on the South Side of
East Washington Street, on property belonging to Eva Lena Haley,
so as to include in such Neighborhood Service District (NS), li-
mited to the specific use of a one chair beauty shop, subject to
the requirement that suitable off-street parking be provided,
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a Two-Family Dwelling District (2F), and
that the boundaries of the said Neighborhood Service District
(NS), limited to the specific use of a one chair beauty shop,
subject to the requirement that suitable off-street parking be
provided, be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
A part of the Larkin Rattan Survey and situated
within the corporate limits of the City of Paris,
Lamar County, Texas, being No. 530 East Washington
Street, and being Lot 2, City Block 161.
Section 2. That the City Angineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No.
1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accord-
ance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 8th day of September, 1969.
