AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIFS FSTABLISHED
BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; FSTABLISHING A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (LI) AND ANIMAL SLAUGHTERING PLANT (S) ON LOT 2, CITY
BLOCK 276, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO LEON MOSS, SO AS TO INCLUDE
THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGl\TATED AS A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (LI) SPDCIFIC USE PERMII NO. 7; DESIGNATING THE BOUNDA-
RIFS OF THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI) AND ANIMAL
SLAUGHTERING PLANT (S) SO FSTABLISHED; AND PLACING CONDITIONS

BE IT OR DAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Light Industrial District (LI) and Animal Slaughtering Plant (S),
be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 2, City Block 276,
on property belonging to Leon Moss, so as to include in such
Light Industrial District (LI) and Animal Slaughtering Plant (S)
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a Light Industrial District (LI) Specific
Use Permit No. 7, and that the boundaries of the said Light
Industrial District (LI) and Animal Slaughtering Plant (S), be,
and the same are hereby established as follows:
A part of the Redding Russell Survey and of what is
known as the City of Paris Abattoir property, described
by metes and bounds as .follows :
BEGINNING at a point in the NB line of Clement Road
at the most Westerly corner of a tract of lan d conveyed
to the City of Paris by deed recorded in Book 238, Page
621, Lamar County Deed Records;
THENCE North 20 deg. East 356.4 feet, a stake;
THENC E North 83 deg. 30 min. East 40.9 feet, a stake;
THENCE North 20 deg. East 195 feet, a stake;
THENCE Ea.st 265 feet, a stake;
THENCE South, at 500 feet passing the NS line of
Clement Road, continuing across said road and on South a
distance of 977 feet in all;
THENCE West 500 feet, a stake;
THENCE North 477 feet to the place of beginning,
Being Lot 2, City Block 276.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No.
1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accord-
ance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. The Animal Slaughtering Plant (S) established
herein is subject to the Director of Public Works' requirements
enumerated in his memorandum addressed tc the City Attorney
dated November 4, 1969, the original of which is attached to the
original of the Minutes of the Planning and ZmEng Commission
dated November 13, 1969, and subject to the Paris-Lamar County
