AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED
BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A NEIGHBORHOOD
SERVICE DISTRICT (NS), ON LOT 15, CITY BLOCK 140, ON PROPEFZTY BE-
LONGING TO LAVINIA BURCH, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FOR-
MERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); DESIG-
NATING THE BOUNDARIFS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICE DISTRICT (NS )
SO FSTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TF.YAS :
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofare established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris,
Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a Neighborhood
Service District (NS), be, and the same is hereby established on
Lot 15, City Block 140, on property belonging to Lavinia Burch, so
as to include in such Neighborhood Service District (NS), the here-
inafter described property, which was formerly and is presently
designated as a Two Family Dwelling District (2F), and that the
boundaries of the said Neighborhood Service District (NS), be, and
the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated in the County of Lamar, State of Texas, a part
of the Larkin Rattan Survey within the corporate limits of
the City of Paris, in City Block No. 140.
BEGINNING at the intersection of the NBL of East
Washington Street and the WBL of 3rd Street SE (formerly
23rd Street);
THENCE West with the NBL of said Washington Street
35 feet to the outside west wall of the brick building
located on the lot herein conveyed;
THENCE North with the outside wall of said building
67 feet a stake;
THENCE East 35 feet, a stake in the WBL of said 3rd
St. SE;
THENCE South with the WBL of said street 67 feet to
the place of beginning.
Being a part of the lot conveyed to H. D. Redus and
wife, Bessie Irene Redus, by H. B. Mazey and wife, Ada
Mazey, on June 27, 1945, as shown of record in Book 277,
Page 220, Lamar County Deed Records.
Being Lot 15, City Block 140.
Section 2. That the City F-ngineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No.
1710 and the land use map acoompanying the same, and in accord-
ance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris
in regular session con vened in the Council Room, City Hall, Paris,
Texas, on this the 8th day of December, 1969.
