1944 ORD AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 1913 SECTION 7 BY CHANGING SCHEDULE OF POUNDAGE FEESORDINANCE NO. 1944 AN ORDINANC E AMENDING ORDINAFE~NO~D9 S ECTI ONT1o11, BY R' CHANGING THE SCHEDULE OF POUNDAG 1 QUIRING THE NOTICE OF SALE OF T-IVF-SI~EKNOT TOCEXCEED TwpLA- AND DATE OF SALE; PROVIDING FOR DRED ($200.00) DOLLARS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEBRUARY 12 1970. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That Ordinance S°~oi9o132 ws:Section 71 unnumbered paragraph 11 be amended to read a }tThe following shallbe the fees charged as poundage for the impoundment of animals under Section 5: (1) For impounding livestock and other animals, per head, $5.00; t dogs and (2) For care of livestock and animals, excep cats, per head, per day, $2•00; $1.00• (3) For care of dogs or cats,per head: Per he day, ~ actual cost (4) Additional cost for impounding expended. (5) For newspaper advertisements, the actual cost ex- pended." Section 2. That Ordin~ach 2° 1913, 11, asefollows- sentence of unnumbered parag p , +lUpon impoundment of livestock, the chief of police shall within three (3) days after such animal has been impounded post three notices, one at the County Courthouse, one at the City Hall and one at the place where such animal shall be impounded, giving therein a full description of the animal, stating the place of sale and the date of the sale, which date sha~~lSbChnot less than five (5) days from the date of the postin auction notice, and any such animal sold shall be sold at public to the highest bidder for cash." Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon con- viction shall be fined in any sum not exceedviolationushall con- ($200.00) Dollars, and each and every day stitute a separate and distinct offense.
