AN ORDINANCE AMFNDING aJNING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES FS_
TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT, COMMUNITY UNIT DEVELOPMENT, ON
A PART OF LOT l, CITY BLOCK 3061 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO
M. S. KIMBELL AND CLYDE FRY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRI-
TORY FORMERLY DFSIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; AND DFSIG-
NATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT,
COMM[TNITY UNIT DEVELOPMENT, SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TFXAS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Planned Development District, Community Unit Development, be,
and the same is here by established on a part of Lot 1, City
Block 306, on property belonging to M. S. Kimbell and Clyde
Fry, so as to include in such Planned Development District,
Community Unit Development, the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently desi gnated as a Commercial
District, an d that the boundaries of said Planned Development
District, Community Unit Development, be, and the same are
hereby established as follows:
Being all that certain lot, tract or parcel of land
situated in Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and out of the
Redding Russell Survey, and a part of a 90.826 acre
tract conveyed to KRSS Corp. by deed recorded in Vol.
408, Page 334, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and
being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at an iron stake at the point of inter-
section of the Northeast ROW Line of DeShong Dr. (a 50
foot ROW) and the Northwest ROW Line of Lewis Lane (a
60 foot ROW) ;
THENCE N. 59° 30' triT, , 300.00 feet with the Northeast
ROW Line of DeShong Dr. to the true point of beginning;
THENCE N. 500 30' W., 554.0 feet continuin g with the
Northeast ROW Line of DeShong Dr. to a point for corner;
THENCE N. 30° 50' E., 786.5 feet to a point for
corner in the Southwest ROW Line of Stone Ave. (a 60
foot ROW);
THENCE S. 59° 30' E., 554.0 feet with the Southwest
ROW Line of Stone Ave. to a point for corner;
THENCE S. 300 50' W., 786.5 feet to the point of
beginning and containing 435,721.0 Sq. Ft. or 10.003
acres of land.
Being a Part of Lot 1, City Block 306.
Section 2. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordina,nces in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day of March, 1970.
