AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANC E NO. 1915, SUSPENDING
PARKING METER ZONFS ON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS, SY EXTENDING SAID PERIOD OF SUSPENSION INDEF-
INITELY; PROVIDING FOR A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JUNE 1, 1970a
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TF.XAS :
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1915 of the
City of Paris, Paris, 3b~cas, is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"SSection 1. Eff ective August 1, 1969 and continuing
indefinitely, metered parking on the streets of Paris,
Texas is suspended."
Section 2, All other sections of Ordinance No. 1915
remain in full force and effect, including Section 4 and 5
which each provide for penalties not to exceed Two Hundred
($200.00) Dollars.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
the lst day of June, 1970.
Passed and adopted this llth day of May, 1970.
