AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ES-
TABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
pLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (PD), SHOPPING CENTER, HOUSING
DEVELOPMENT OR COMMUNITY UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND INDUSTRIAL PARK
OR DISTRICT? ON LOTS 11 AND 13, CITY BLOCK 154-A, ON PROPERTY
BII.ONGING TO PEMCO DEVEI,OPMENT CORP., SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A),
ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2) AND HEAVY INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT (HI); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT (PD), SHOPPING CENTER, HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
OR COMMUNITY UNIT DEUELOPMENT AND INDUSTRIAL PARK OR DISTRICT,
SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT OR DAINED BY THE CITY COUNC IL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,

Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Planned Development District (PD), Shopping Center, be, and the
same is hereby established on a Part of Lot 11, City Block 154-A,
on property belongin g to Pemco Development Corp., so as to in-
clude in such Planned Development District (PD), Shopping Center,
the hereinafter described property, wh_ic:ll was form.erly and is
presently designated as an Agricultural District (A), and that
the boundaries of said Planned Development District (PD),
Shopping Center, be, and the same are hereby established as
follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of
the Asa Jarman Survey, and being more particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the South
Boundary Line of W. Washington St., said point being
300 ft. West of the West Boundary Line of 13th S.W.;
THENC E South a distance of 345 ft. to a stake for
corner;
THENCE South 58 Deg. West along the center of a
Power Line a distance of 210 ft. to a stake for corner;
THENCE North 42 Deg. West along the center of a
ditch a distance of 620 ft. to a stake for corner;
THENC E East along the South Boundary Line of W.
Washington St. a distance of 595 ft. to the place of
beginning, and containing 3.84 acres, more or less.
Section 2. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Planned Development District (PD), Housing Development or
Community Unit Development, be, and the same is hereby es-
tablished on a Part of Lot 11, City Block 154-A, on property
belonging to Pemco Development Corp., so as to include in such
Planned Development District (PD), Housing Development or
Community Unit Development, the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designated as an
Agricultural District (A), One-Family Dwelling District No. 2
(SF-2) and Heavy Industrial District (HI), and that the
boundaries of said Planned Development District (PD), Housing
Development or Community Unit Development, be, and the same
are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of
the Asa Jarman Survey, and being more particularly

Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
Planned Development District (PD), Indu.strial Park or District,
be, and the same is hereby established on Lot 13, City Block
154-A, on property belonging to Pemco Development Corp., so as
to include in such Planned Development District (PD), Industrial
Park or District, the hereinafter described property, which was
formerly and is presently designated as an Agricultural District
(A) and Heavy Industrial District (HI), and that the boundaries
of said Planned Development District (PD), Industrial Park or
District, be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City of
Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of
the Asa Jarman Survey, and being more particularly
described as follows:
BtING ALL OF THAT PART LYING NORTH OF THE TEXAS AND
PACIFIC RAILWAY CO, R.O.W.
BEGINNING at an Rail set in ground for a corner;
said point being the point of intersection of the North
Boundary Line of the Texas & Pacific Ry. Co. R.O.W. and
the West Boundary Line of the G.C. & S.F. Ry. Co. R.O.W.;
THENCE North 21 Deg. East with the West Boundary Line
of Santa Fe R.O.W., 383 ft. to an I.P. for a corner;
THENCE West 2586 feet to an I.P. for a corner; said
point being in the East Boundary Line of a County Road;
THENC E South with the East Boundary Line of said
County Road 947.5 feet to an I.P. .for a corner; same
being in the North Boundary Line of the Texas & Pacific
Ry. Co. R.O.W.;
THFNC E North 76 Deg. East, with the North Boundary
Line of the T& P Ry. Co. R.O.W., 2516 feet to the place
of beginning, and containing 36.775 acres of land, more
or less.
Section 4. That the City Engineer of the City of Paris,
be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the
City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1710 an d the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 5. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris in regular session convened in the Council Room, City
Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 8th day of June, 1970.
