BE IT ORDAINE,D BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. Parks closed during certain hours.
All cityowned parks within theaor~° om t121001osclock e
City of Paris shall be closed every dY •
midnight until 5:00 o'clock A. M., and it shall be unlawful
for any person to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in such
parks during such period when they are closed. However, if
anyone applies for permission to carry out an activity in a
park during such hours and the City Manager determines that
such activity will not create a disturbance or public nuisance,
such Managex shall have authority to issue a special permit for
such activity.
Section 2. Penalty.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordi-
nance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon convi200o00
shall be fined in any sum not to exceed Two Hundred )
Dollars.
Section 3. Effective Date.
This ordinance shall become effective on September 1,
1970.
Passed and adopted this 10th day of August, 1970.
