AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, TEYAS, BY REVISING SDCTION 31-3(b), PROV.CDING FOR
FEFS FOR WATER AND SEWER TAPS OTHER THAN THOSE PROVIDED IN
SECTION 31-3(a) TO BE DETERMINED BY THE DIRBCTOR OF PUBLIC
WORKS BASED UPON ACTUAL COST; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFBC-
TIVE DATE OF JANLTARY 1, 1971.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
PARIS, TFXAS:
Section 1. That Section 31-3(b) of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris, Texas, be amended so that
such shall read as follows:
"Section 31-3. A.pplication and fee for water and
sewer taps.
(b) The fees prescribed by Subsection (a)
shall apply to a three-fourths (3/4) inch water
tap and a four (4) inch sewer tap within the
ROW of streets of which the City of Paris is re-
sponsible for maintenance. The fee for all other
water and sewer taps shall be determined by the
Director of Public Works based on actual cost.
An estimated cost deposit will be required in
advance."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
January 1, 1971.
